Islam in-focus training course
Why Islam In-Focus Training Course?
In order to fully comprehend the culture of the Middle East, Gulf and Arabs, one needs to understand the extensive influence of religion on society.
Islam, which governs every aspect of a Muslim’s life, also permeates every aspect of the Middle East. As a result, Arabian culture is often described as detail orientated, whereby emphasis is placed on ethics and expected social behavior such as generosity, respect and solidarity.
These are customs and social duties that also infiltrate the Middle Eastern business world and affect the way Arabs handle business dealings.
The role of Islam In-Focus training:
These different attitudes and behaviors are more than likely to be conditioned by values, assumptions and perceptions that are mainly instilled by the Islamic influence in Arabs life and are expressed in the way they behave and interact.
These Islamic influences are so deep that they act upon them instinctively—in everything they do, from the way they stand and talk, to the way they deal with superiors, conflict and decision-making. Since this influence is so deep and intuitive, it can lead to substantial misunderstanding and miscommunication.
Nowhere can this be more detrimental than in an a national or Middle Eastern workplace, where misunderstandings based on religious beliefs can make or break lucrative business deals, international mergers and any other type of cross-cultural working.
